This project served as a capstone to the development of my fictional city of Sumptown. This packaging represents Sumptown's efforts to rebrand as a tourist trap, despite the town's rich and authentic history.
Johnny Appleseed
This project focused on redesigning or recontextualizing a figure from folklore or myth. While John Chapman was a real person, his mythical of Johnny Appleseed was ripe for reinterpretation. I designed commercial packaging for Chapman's Cider, and imprisoned Johnny Appleseed in one of the bottles.
